ALSC established a Día registry, inviting libraries to submit their events. Over 300 libraries in 38 states participated in 2008. (The ALSC Registry reflects only those libraries who submit events to ALSC and is thus a partial estimate of Día April celebrations.) Registrants received a total of about 68,000 complimentary bilingual brochures featuring Dora the Explorer and her friend, Boots.
