Continue the Day of Diversity conversation
To continue the conversation started at the Day of Diversity: Dialogue and Action in Children’s Literature and Library Programming event at the 2015 ALA Midwinter Meeting, the ALSC Board of Directors and ALSC President Ellen Riordan will be hosting an online Day of Diversity live chat.
This live forum is part of ALSC’s commitment to conversations on diversity and inclusion and the essential role that children’s librarian to ensure rich and diverse collections and programming. For more on ALSC’s next steps, please see this ALSC Blog post from February 6, 2015.
This online forum will be open to anyone, including ALSC members, non-members and anyone with an interest in youth library service. The forum will include live audio from ALSC President Ellen Riordan followed by a discussion led by members of the board. This event will take place on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 3pm Eastern.
