Día Dynamo, Librarian Meryle Leonard and her colleagues at Charlotte Mecklenburg Library has celebrated Día since 1998. In 2007, the Library expanded its promotion state-wide to include workshops and surveys for librarians and educators in North Carolina and state-wide webinar training. Over the years, NC Día was expanded from a small storytelling celebration to the impactful, community cultural celebration it is today.
