The 20th Annual Texas Book Festival is taking place in Austin this weekend. If you’re planning to attend, you might catch Pat at one of these events:

Saturday, October 17, 1:00 – 1:45 p.m.
Texas State Capitol House Chamber, 2nd floor west wing
Pat will receive the 2015 Texas Writers Award, and sit down with the Festival’s executive director to discuss her literary career and work as a bilingual literacy advocate. The session will be followed by a book signing.

Sunday, October 18, 1:00 – 2:30 p.m.
Texas Center for the Book at the Texas State Library and Archives Commission, 1201 Brazos Street
Pat will join the First Lady of Texas, Mrs. Cecilia Abbott, and authors Sarah Bird and Carmen Lomas Garza at the Texas Center for the Book’s Kick Off Celebration.
